These do exactly what I needed them to do. They’re super easy to use. I’ve NEVER used a diamond bit or tried drilling ceramic. I’ve become a plant fanatic and needed to add drainage holes to some things I purchased to repot some plants.

Use a drill press and clamp the piece to be drilled, or drill a guide hole through a piece of 3/4" wood the same size as the bit you are using, and clamp it and the piece you are drilling to a work surface. Drill slowly with medium pressure, and lubricate with water. I use a sponge and squeeze water on the bit while drilling. By going slowly and carefull, I was able to cut amazingly chip-free holes for radius tiles around the outside corner of a tub, then cleaned up with a diamond half'round file. To sum up: amazingly good value, at least for an amateur tile setter.

It cut thru 3/4in marble and the hole came out good, so overall did the job and i am happy.
It takes time and lubrication (I'd recommend the small dam technique around the hole, flooded with water).

I bought these to core out rocks. They work really well especially for the price. I was shocked. I would recommend them.
